
DARK HAZELNUT PASTE
The special roasting process used for these hazelnuts gives it a stronger and more persistent flavour.
ORIGIN: ITALY; Campania.
QUALITY: Mortarella.
INGREDIENTS:Hazelnut paste.
FEATURES: Medium-small fruit, pale brown with light stripes and a sub cylindrical shape compressed at the sides, the shell is rather thin.
The ivory-white pulp is, consistent and aromatic. Its taste will remind you of caramel and bread crusts.
CHARACTERISTICS: Medium-high toasting.
THE GELATO: The paste undergoes a medium to high toasting.
You will obtain a medium dark brown colour gelato with an intense flavour of toasted hazelnuts.
