MEC3, Modecor and Giuso

together in a stand of 289 sqm,

to present the excellence of ‘Sweet Arts’

MEC3, Modecor and Giuso, the three companies that make up the Group Optima, owned by the British private equity investment firm Charterhouse Capital Partner LLP, are together at HOST 2019, with the objective of conquering the public thanks to the excellence of the ‘Sweet Arts’.

Masterpieces of gelato, pastry and decorations will be protagonists for five days in the showcases of the three leading companies, on a new stand of 289 sq. m, with many new proposals studied for the professionals of the sector.  

 Live demonstrations and spectacular shows will enrich the daily proposals of Mec3 In Cups, the perfect ally that meets the different needs of consumption in the beverage sector,

expert bartenders will demonstrate to the public the infinite applications of this revolutionary line created for bars and coffee shops.

In the angle dedicated to Wondercream, the evolution of gelato soft in a gourmet dessert, everyone can create their personal gelato soft by imaginatively combining the gelato with the famous creams and the precious sauces and grains.

High performance bases with different applications, delicious fillings for cold desserts or baked desserts, modern glazes ready for use and perfect when sliced, original and appealing chocolates and flowers for decorating: all this can be admired in the showcase of La Gelatisserie, the creative evolution of pastry making. Next to this, all the goodness of the cakes Spettinate Quella: the spreadable creams of the sweetest family become original desserts with an unexpected look…

Finally the Mec3 proposals conclude with the novelties for the gelato shop: from the autumnal Recipe book where apples, marron glacès, oranges and walnuts give life to unusual and sought-after gelato flavours, from Quella Ruby and Quella hazelnut; from Extra Santo Domingo to the incomparable flavours of the line Cookies, to the Specialities and the new Evolution Bases.

Traditional and modern pastries, just like the gelato novelties, will be protagonists of the Giuso showcase

The Modecor decorations will embellish all the creations present in the showcases, from the gelato to the pastry products. Furthermore, the company from Cuvio will present two new products in the context of its production of chocolate decorations: the new Choco Chablon and the third generation silkscreen-printing machine.  

To complete the stand a space dedicated to  ‘Casa Optima – high performance training  in Sweet Arts where  it will be possible to obtain information concerning the courses, the program, the Italian and foreign locations. 

The Casa Optima courses range from gelato to pastry making, professional decorations, coffee specialities and cocktails, focusing on specific themes such as the world of chocolate and leavened products. For the scholastic year 2019-20 54 courses are foreseen, from October to May which thanks to the collaboration of highly qualified professionals and partnerships with prestigious training institutions, such as the Gambero Rosso Academy, we will address issues that will outline an intense training program, articulated on several levels and in a transversal manner, intended for both professionals and novices.
