A  range of low calorie products, with no added sugars or fats, with less than 100 calories per 100 grams. The line is particularly indicated for those who follow a careful diet.

The change in consumption habits also imposes the gelato shop to have a special area in the showcase dedicated to WELLNESS, in order to respond to the growing and consistent needs of demanding consumers.

Why the new formula?

The European community has issued a regulation CEE1924 of 2006 relative to the health and nutritional information of food products.

This regulation identifies exactly the nutritional claims and the relative applicable conditions, thus eliminating the concept of discrimination on the communication of the slogan.

Mec3 has created this new formula Dia &Light in order to guarantee its clients the public usage of the proper nutritional claim – pls see below – according to the new regulation.

Thanks to this new product line, the client will be able to produce and advertise a gelato with the following characteristics:

• light (30% less calories compared to a traditional gelato);
• no added sugar (neither sacharose nor fructose);
• 0% fat
