Best Idea Award 2010




Best Idea Award 2010 held at the Art Institute Fellini in Riccione (Rimini - Italy) on the design of a jar of cherries to use artisan gelato.

Ivonne Baker is the student of the Art Institute "Fellini" in Riccione on the morning of June 4, 2010 was awarded the" Best Idea Award 2010 "instituted by Mec3 which always supports creativity and the arts as a youth the highest expressions of the value of freedom of communication.
 
The award was for a design project that involved many classes of Fellini Art Institute in  Riccione, on the design of a jar of cherries to be placed on gelato parlour showcaeses.
 
The result was nothing short of amazing with 43 projects, of which ten were selected among those that Ivonne Young winner - who is only the second year of study - will be produced by Mec3 and distributed to all its customers in 90 countries worldwide.
 
On the "podium" Filippo Bartoli (IID) in second place and Eleonora Montanari (VD) the third.
 
The award ceremony was held in front of students, teachers and parents. To do the honors the dean Mr Giuseppe Ciampoli, accompanied by the deputy headmaster and teachers Loredana Andruccioli, Simona Maggini, Davide Fraternali and Tonus Calliope.
 
All pupils received a certificate of participation, while the top ten was handed a glass directly from the hands of the general manager of Mec3 Maurizio Raggi. In the first place, besides the joy of seeing their project built, was also recognized a special prize.
 
After the small ceremony was offered a buffet prepared by students of the Hotelier Institute "Savioli", to establish a better cooperation between the different schools.
 
"I thank teachers for their excellent work - began the dean Ciampoli - This initiative has been fruitful for several reasons, it has helped to enhance both the work of teachers is one of the boys, who can see the results of your efforts. And is significant that a company like Mec3, to which I extend my thanks, is interested in the world of youth and bring to market the activities of students. For this reason, and in light of the work, from my point of view the children who participated are all winners. "
 
"Our company - said Maurizio Raggi, general manager of Mec3 - wants to stay young and therefore we want to have close contact with young people and the territory. For this reason we have invested in the project today. I must honestly tell you that I did not expect such a high level! Actually we wanted to reward many jobs, but eventually we had to choose, opting for the work and that there is more that meets your characteristics, with a great emotional impact. "
 
Important collaboration of teachers: "Mec3 came as a gift - said Professor Loredana Maggini - because the award has allowed us to bring teachers on the books. We had great fun and I hope that the boys have also heard ".
 
From next year the "design" will also become a subject of study by Fellini.
