Mec3 is an Italian company leader in the world for the production of ingredients for artisan gelato and pastry-making.
Giordano Emendatori established Mec3 in 1984; and in just a few years he transformed Mec3 from an "unknown promise" into an "absolute protagonist" in our business.
In 1997 it was the first company in its field to be awarded the certificate for its quality system according to the ISO 9000 regulations, issued by the prestigious German body of control TUV CERT.
Thanks to a winning company strategy based on quality and by valorising its members of staff and ensuring the complete satisfaction of its clientele, Mec3 is recognized today as the most dynamic and innovative company in its field.
An effective marketing mix together with the image of a "premium factory " have taken Mec3 along the path of continual growth with no geographical limits.
At present operating in more 70 countries, directly or through business partners and selected distributors, all in line with Mec3's company culture. Winning products and a qualitative company system, but not only this... Mec3 has always paid special attention to social and humanitarian themes.
An important project was relized in 2002 in cooperation with UNICEF. Today Mec3 supports the ABO PROJECT (www.aboproject.it) for research against cancer.
In January 2004 Mec3 opened the new exhilarating factory, an important target for the company, where brillant aesthetic solutions merge with deep technological innovations, making our new location one of the most acctractive in Europe.
